The base trim accentuates this contemporary design style with 18-inch machine-finished alloy wheels, though you can opt for variants that are 20 inches instead. The optional panoramic moonroof takes up the majority of the cabin ceiling and lets the sunshine that California is known for light up the interior. However, during the intense midday heat, you can use the power sunshade to provide a bit of relief for you and your passengers. The standard heated power side mirrors have additional practical functions, too, such as the available memory settings. This way, you can easily save your preferred setups.

When the 2026 Toyota bZ finally does need a recharge, you can go from 10 to 80 percent in just 30 minutes using a DC Fast Charger2. In addition, standard regenerative braking converts energy from braking back to electricity that your car can use to stay on the road for longer. All of this is possible thanks to the lithium ion battery with a 74.7 kWh capacity. Pair that with a single motor and a FWD system or select an edition with a dual-motor and AWD. If you opt for the former, you can unleash up to 221 horsepower and 198 lb.-ft. of torque. If you go with the latter powertrain, you’ll have an exciting 338 horsepower and 198 lb.-ft. of torque at your disposal.
Safety
We want to highlight some of the driver assistance technologies that come with the Toyota Safety Sense™ 3.03. To start with, the standard Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection4 lets you know of possible impacts toward the front of the vehicle. If you’re taking the highway to your destination, then the standard Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist5 is sure to be handy, as it can gently correct the bZ back into its intended position if you veer off course. EPA-estimated total driving range ratings for 2026 bZ models when fully charged and operated under ideal conditions: 314-mile for 2026 bZ4X XLE FWD Plus; 288-mile for 2026 bZ XLE AWD; 299-mile for 2026 bZ Limited FWD; 278-mile for 2026 bZ Limited AWD; and 236-mile for 2026 bZ XLE FWD. Use for comparison purposes only. Actual range may decrease significantly depending on speed, outside temperature, accessory use, how/where you drive, charging habits, and other factors. Battery capacity also decreases with time and use, which will reduce range. See www.fueleconomy.gov.
2. DC charging time will vary based on weather and other factors. DC charging times will increase as temperatures decrease, with significant increases possible at temperatures below freezing. DC Fast Charging should be limited to three sessions per day, regardless of the weather. After three 10-80% charge sessions, DC Fast Charging over the next day may take longer and be less effective. Accessory use, battery level and condition, and charger specifications also can negatively affect charging times.
3. Toyota Safety Sense™ effectiveness is dependent on many factors including road, weather and vehicle conditions. Drivers are responsible for their own safe driving. Always pay attention to your surroundings and drive safely. See Owner’s Manual for limitations.
