1. Airbag systems supplement the seatbelts and are designed to inflate only under certain conditions and in certain types of severe collisions. Always wear seatbelt, sit upright in middle and as far back in seat as possible to help decrease risk of injury. Do not put objects in front of an airbag. See Owner’s Manual for limitations.
2. Advanced Rear Seat Reminder uses a sensor from the vehicle, designed to detect movement in the rear seats to alert you of an occupant. Sensor coverage is limited and may not detect all occupants under all circumstances. Drivers are responsible for ensuring no occupants are left in a vehicle. In-vehicle alerts for rear seat occupant detection may vary depending on whether the vehicle is locked or unlocked and do not require opting in to Toyota Connected Services. With an active Safety Connect® trial or subscription and registration, via the Toyota app on your smartphone, you may also receive a notification, SMS, and/or an automated call to your verified account phone number. System functionality depends on 4G network availability and other factors. See Owner’s Manual for additional limitations and details.
